- Submission of scientific data
The Committee on Herbal Medicinal Products (HMPC) can invite the public to submit scientific data on herbal substances and preparations. This information may then be used by the Committee in the development of Community monographs and/ to Community list entries. Participation from the public is an important way for Rapporteurs (members of the HMPC) to obtain a complete set of bibliographic references and scientific data for a given assessment. Scientific contributions in response to a call for the submission of scientific data can be provided to the Agency in electronic format (e-mail or CD-ROM) or paper format (two copies by post or fax) during the 3-month period following the publication date.
